Following the announcement for the crime scene; The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, Netflix has now released the investigation series surrounding the death of Elisa Lam.
Directed and executive produced by Joe Berlinger (The Ted Bundy Tapes), the four-episode documentary will “deconstruct” the events behind Lisa Lam’s disappearance with interviews with the hotel employees, guests and investigators. Cecil Hotel holds a history of crime including the 2013 case involving the discovery of the Vancouver, BC, Canada student in the water supply of Los Angeles’ Cecil Hotel.
Featuring the dull history of the downtown area, alongside the chilling film that ignited media creating an online worldwide examination.
Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel serves as the first season of Berlinger’s Netflix docuseries that deconstructs the mythology and mystery.
Watch the trailer for Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel set to debut on Netflix February 10.
