Netflix has officially set a release date for Zack Snyder‘s Army of the Dead. Fans will be excited to hear that the film is hitting the streaming in March and the first teaser for the film is coming later on this week.
The upcoming film is set amidst a zombie outbreak in Sin City. The plot follows a group of mercenaries as they encounter zombie mayhem while trying to pull off a risky heist. Joining Bautista are Westworld actor Hiroyuki Sanada, Omari Hardwick, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Samantha Win, Nora Arnezeder, Matthias Schweighöfer and Rich Cetrone.
The film was initially announced in 2008 as a sequel to Dawn of the Dead. However the project was never brought to life, so Netflix have the title and brought Zack Snyder on board to direct in 2019.
